TRACfed: For Information About the Federal Government

TRACFED2We have recently added a subscription to TRACfed, “a unique web-based service for understandable, authoritative and complete information about the federal government – how it enforces the law, where it assigns its employees, and how it spends our money.”  This resource is produced by the Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse at Syracuse University.

Restricted Access during Finals

On Tuesday, April 21, the Pritzker Legal Research Center began enforcing a restricted access policy, which lasts through Thursday, May 7. The library is closed to patrons other than NU Law students, NU faculty and staff, those in the legal profession, and pre-approved researchers. There are more detailed guidelines posted at the circulation and reference desks.

Extended Hours

The Law Library has extended its hours for the Law School’s Reading and Finals’ periods.

Through Wednesday, May 6, the hours are:

Monday-Friday: 7.30am-midnight

Saturday-Sunday: 9am-midnight

Today Marks the Start of Spring!

The Vernal Equinox occurs today at 5:45pm CDT and the Law School begins its Spring Break tomorrow.

Here are the Law Library’s Spring Break hours:

Saturday, March 21: 9am-5pm

Sunday, March 22: CLOSED

Monday, March 23 – Saturday, March 28: 9am-5pm

Regular academic year hours will resume on March 29.
